Mrs. Jyoti Arora

“Where the beginning is right the end is always glorious.” A first in anything is important whether it is a step taken by a child, a century by a batsman, a flight of an aeroplane or the first session of the school. It has been very rightly said, that the rooting of the tree is equal to the schooling system of a man. The schooling system with its specific concern, regarding all round development transforms the child in to a child of right living, a man who creates his own destiny, a man who makes the whole surroundings happy and healthy. He comes out of the shell “Me” to “We” not just to live but to make other lives. A dream, a vision and a commitment that’s Delhi Public World School – a place bustling with energy, creativity, zeal and curiosity to learn and the will to do. The school has armed itself to progress and accentuate the positive in terms of the architectural grandeur and quality of education. We have a vision for a Dipsites, we want them to be harbingers of peace and change heralding a new era, a better world in the time that we are living in. They will be like the snow flake that leaves marks and not a stain. We aim to instil in each child a sense of inquisitiveness, exploration, and urge for experimentation, observation and synthesis. We endeavour to free the learning process from the confines of the four walls of classrooms and take it further to activity workshop, resource centres, laboratory and library, teaching less for learning more. A building is designed so as to promote students to think green. We promote learning to nurture experience as students are encouraged to observe and appreciate greenery and natural environment. We need to see each child as God’s creation and recognise a diversity and individuality, creativity and imagination, nurturing children in good social, ethical, disciplined environment. The activities will be refreshing tonics which bring in a touch of variety and release the springs of joy making our children truly special. We will provide a quiver full of opportunities to experience the nuances of life. The children of the school are the future world children. They will learn that discipline is important for any success- individual or collective. They will learn healthy competition, the importance of values, the importance of courage, health and how to take up a challenge. These are the steps which the school has beautifully moulded in its curriculum. We believe that the mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. Warmly,
